Pride in 2025

Happy Pride month! In honor of June I initially wrote out a sappy story about how my life was changed in Fall 2024 when I began to center it around women. Once I was finally able to decipher between my love of male attention and how that’s different from actually loving men. After binging the infamous Lesbian Master Doc in a single night my understanding of compulsive heterosexuality was challenged (the document has it’s own problems which i’d absolutely dive into someday however for the sake of this story it’s merely a cannon event). After years of my life spent idolizing, dating, befriending, learning from, and chasing men I was officially radicalized into a true man-hating lesbian! Asking any of my friends about my shift from ambiguously queer to Lesbian makes it clear that I was one of the last to know. Since I graduated high school and came out as a lesbian I haven’t spent time around a straight man on purpose and it’s the best thing that ever happened to me. Now I have a group full of queer/trans friends who actively strive to build a lifelong community and I’m dating the girl of my dreams openly and loudly. I’m trying desperately to learn and better the world through school and someday my work but I suppose I had to learn and better myself first. All of that said, i’m still disgustingly young. While i’m only 18 I do still feel as though i’ve lived a whole life so the pretentious words I’m spewing on this page will undoubtedly turn into youthful ramblings as I revisit them in the future. Maybe that’s okay. That was introspective and wordy enough, since my girl is 18000 miles away here’s an alternate list of ways to lez out this june if you don’t have immediate access to other lesbians :)

  1. Eating fruit

Enough said, we’re in prime berry season I’m taking advantage of it!

  2. Watching Queer Movies

As an avid movie watcher, lover, and overthinker I have been focusing on consuming queer movies. Bottoms, But I’m a Cheerleader, Imagine Me and You, Juno (I think this counts), Challengers, Carol, Thelma & Lousie, so far (yes, I have a fuck ton of free time). More to come!

Expect longer posts about some of these!

  3. Pattern clashing

  4. Arts & Crafts

  5. Yelling at men

  6. Carabiners

You will not catch me outside without one this month

(left side thank you very much)

  7. Whacky hair

I love every time I see another dyed hair angel in public it’s like we’re in a secret club. I will be too woke and mention that it’s a way to signal radicalism in the face of fascism but I digress. PINK HAIR 4 LIFE (or at least June)

  8. Thrift-Flips

  9. Blogging

  10. Girl-Kissing

  11. Slutty Outfits

  12. Collecting Cd’s

  13. Roller-Blading

  14. Going To Thrift Malls
